Marchitelli Named MASCAC Football Rookie Of The Week
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman Rocky Marchitelli (Gunnison, CO) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Sunday.
Gunnison, Colo. native picks up first weekly honor of the season
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman Rocky Marchitelli (Gunnison, CO) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Sunday.
The freshman signal caller collects his first weekly accolade of the 2023 campaign after completing 17-of-38 passes for 192 yards and his first collegiate touchdown pass for the Falcons in a 33-17 setback to Dean College in the Falcons 2023 season opener on Saturday.
The Falcons return to action on Saturday, September 9th as they host the Spartans of Vermont State Castleton, starting at 3:00 PM.
