Chenice Branquinho, Cross Country

Senior Chenice Branquinho (E. Freetown, Mass./Old Colony) collects her first Soaring Falcon honor of the season after earning the top Falcon spot (113th) at the Corsair Shriners Invitational hosted by UMass Dartmouth.

This week Branquinho posted a three minute personal record, notching a time of 20:33.11 to lead the Falcons to a 28th place finish.

Last week, Chenice registered a fourth place showing at the Fitchburg State Jim Sheehan Memorial with a time of 23:55

The Fitchburg State women's cross country team will be back in action on Saturday as it completes at the Worcester City Meet starting at 11 a.m.
