2026 Preseason Camp Invite & Details

Welcome Fall Student-Athletes!

We are excited to welcome you to the 2026 Fitchburg State Preseason Training Camps! Please review the essential details below regarding your arrival, check-in schedule, and important deadlines.

Preseason Check-In Schedule

All check-ins will take place at the Recreation Center. Please arrive during your designated time slot to meet with the athletic department, housing, and student accounts.

Wednesday, August 12th | Football

  • 9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.: Last Names A–K

  • 9:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: Last Names L–Z

Tuesday, August 18th:

  • 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Field Hockey

  • 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Women’s Soccer

  • 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: Men’s Soccer

  • 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Women’s Volleyball

Tuesday, August 25th

  • 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Men’s & Women’s Cross Country

Housing & Meals

  • On-Campus Residents: You will move into your official fall room assignments (at no extra charge) immediately following your check-in. You will have time to unpack before team activities begin. Please remember that all University and Housing regulations apply during preseason.

  • Commuters: Commuting students are responsible for their own housing arrangements during camp.

  • Meals: A complimentary meal plan will be provided for all preseason participants at Holmes Dining Hall. Detailed dining hours will be shared when you arrive.

Note on Camp Departures: If you leave the team or are cut during preseason, you must vacate campus housing immediately. You will be permitted to return when the residence halls officially open for the fall semester.

Required Paperwork Deadlines

All medical paperwork and athlete forms must be completed online. Students who have not completed their paperwork by the deadline will not be allowed to attend camp.

  • Football: Friday, July 24th by 5:00 p.m.

  • All Other Fall Sports: Friday, July 31st by 5:00 p.m.

  • Instructions & Forms: A separate Preseason Medical & Compliance email will be sent.
