FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State baseball senior pitcher William Ernst (Worcester, MA) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State baseball senior pitcher William Ernst (Worcester, MA) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.
The first-year Falcons collected his weekly honor of the season after allowing one unearned run on three hits with eight strikeouts over six innings of work in the Falcons 17-1 triumph over the Bearcats of Saint Vincent College on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State Baseball Team (1-4, 0-0 MASCAC) returns to action this afternoon as they take on the Knights of Martin Luther College for a double header at the 2026 RussMatt Invitational, starting at 3:00 PM.
