Bio
Matt Cronin enters his 2nd season at Fitchburg State.
Coach Cronin brings a wealth of pitching knowledge and experience to the Falcons having achieved great success as a collegiate player and professional.
2019 he was honored by the United Shores Professional Baseball League as the Pitcher of the Year.
2018 He was named 1st Team All-American by both the American Baseball Coaches Association and D3Baseball.com , he was also named 2018 New England Pitcher of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association, New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association, and D3Baseball.com. Coach Cronin is a 2x Little East Conference All-Conference Pitcher and 2018 LEC Pitcher of the Year.
In addition to these accolades Coach Cronin pitched in the Cape Cod Baseball League, NECBL, and Future’s Collegiate Baseball League where he was an All-Star.
