Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior defensive end Cameron Monette (Winchendon, MA) was recently named to the D3 Football.Com Team of the Week as announced by the D3 Football.Com on Tuesday morning.
Winchendon, MA natives notches second weekly honor
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior defensive end Cameron Monette (Winchendon, MA) was recently named to the D3 Football.Com Team of the Week as announced by the D3 Football.Com on Tuesday morning.
Monette earned his second weekly accolade of the week after posting 11 tackles on three solo stops and eight assisted tackles, including four sacks and 4.5 tackles for in the Falcons 12-0, season opening victory against Dean College on Saturday.
This is the 26th season in which D3Football.Com has selected the Team Of The Week, which honors the top players nationally at each position.
The Fitchburg State football team returns to action on Saturday as they host the Corsairs of UMass Dartmouth for a MASCAC tilt, starting at 12:00PM.
