Craig Selected LEC Field Hockey Rookie Of The Week
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman forward Sarah Craig (Ashburnham, Mass./Oakmont Regional) was Little East Conference (LEC) Field Hockey Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Ashburnham, Mass. native nets first weekly accolade of the 2018 season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman forward Sarah Craig (Ashburnham, Mass./Oakmont Regional) was Little East Conference (LEC) Field Hockey Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
The first-year Falcon registered a game-leading four points on two goals scored, including her first collegiate tally in the Falcons 5-1 season opening win over the Pilgrims of New England College on Friday evening.
The Fitchburg State field hockey team (1-0, 0-0 LEC) returns to action on Wednesday as it hosts the Chargers of Colby Sawyer College for its 2018 home opener at Elliot Field, starting at 4:00 PM.
