Following a scoreless first half, Worcester State broke the 0-0 stalemate at the 52:38 mark as senior Charlotte MacGregor (Bellingham, MA) collected a feed from classmate Maggie Nailor (Dartmouth, MA) and deposited a shot into the left side of the cage for the 1-0 edg
Fitchburg State nearly knotted the score late in the contest when senior Olivia Narkevicius (Phillipston, MA) fired a shot on frame that was deflected away from the cage, resulting in the 1-0 final.
