Miller Selected MASCAC Player Of The Week
Saint Augustine, Fla. native picks up first weekly accolade of the season
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior Joshua Miller (Saint Augustine, Fla.) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.
The fourth-year defensemen earned his first weekly honor of the year after posting three points on two goals and one assist in two games for the Green and Gold. Miller netted one goal and one helper in a 4-3 triumph over Framingham State on Thursday before adding the game winning goal in a 3-2, overtime victory against UMass Dartmouth on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State ice hockey team (8-6-2, 6-2-2 MASCAC) returns to action on Saturday as they travel to Westfield State to take on the Owls in MASCAC action, starting at 5:35 PM.
