Bauvais Selected MASCAC Player Of The Week

Meudon, France native notches first weekly honor on the season

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman forward Alexandre Bauvais (Meudon, France) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Bauvais earns his first weekly accolade of the year after collecting six points on three goals and three assists in a 2-0 week for the Falcons. Alexandre registered two goals, including the game winner as well as one helper in a 6-1 triumph against Worcester State on Thursday before adding one score and two assists in a 6-2 victory over Westfield State on Saturday.

The Fitchburg State ice hockey team (9-6-2, 8-3-2 MASCAC) returns to action on Thursday as they host the Rams of Framingham State for a MASCAC tilt, starting at 6:30PM.
