Barber-Amado Tabbed MITK Track Athlete Of The Week
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman Zion Barber-Amado (Brockton, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman Zion Barber-Amado (Brockton, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
The first-year Falcon finished sixth overall in the 60 meter hurdles with a DIII New England qualifying time of 8.69 seconds, while adding a 17th place effort in the 200 meter with a time of 23.73 seconds for Fitchburg State at the USATF New England Championships, hosted by Harvard University on Sunday.
The Fitchburg State men's indoor track & field team returns to action this weekend as they compete at the 2019-20 DIII New England Championships, hosted by Springfield College, starting on Friday at 4:00 PM.
