MASCAC Announces MITK All-Conference Team

Bourassa, Guevara Mateo & Richburg named to All-Conference team

Fitchburg, MA – Fitchburg State Men's Indoor Track senior Liam Bourassa (Shirley, MA), freshman Paulino Guevara Mateo (Cambridge, MA) and sophomore Shamar Richburg (Rio Vista, TX) were named to the 2026 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track & Field All-Conference team as announced by the conference office on Thursday afternoon.

Bourassa finished first overall in the weight throw with an All-New England qualifying toss of 17.45 meters as well as placing first overall in the shotput with an All-NE qualifying throw of 15.45 meters for the Falcons at the 2026 MASCAC MITK Championships on Sunday

Guevara Mateo took top honors in the mile with a time of 4:20.62 before placing first overall in the 3000 meter with an All-New England qualifying and meet record time of 8:29.98. Concluded the evening by placing first overall in the 5000 meter with an All-NE qualifying and meet record time of 14:57.30 for the Green and Gold at the 2026 MASCAC MITK Championships on Sunday.

Richburg took top honors in the triple jump with a DIII New England qualifying mark of 13.30 meter for Fitchburg State at the 2026 MASCAC MITK Championships on Sunday.

The top finishers in each event as well as the top relay teams at the 2026 MASCAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships were selected to the All-Conference team.
