Stalters Selected MASCAC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete Of The Week

Norton, Mass. native collects third straight weekly honor of the year

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Sophomore Cameron Stalters was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Stalters earns his third consecutive weekly accolade on the season after placing first overall in the javelin with an Open New England qualifying toss of 59.97 meters as well as taking top honors in the 110 meter hurdles with a DIII New England qualifying time of 15.97 seconds for the Falcons at the 2017 Regis Spring Classic.

The Fitchburg State men's outdoor track team returns to action this weekend as it hosts the 2017 Eric Loeschner Memorial Invitation on Saturday at Elliot Field, starting at 10 a.m.
