Bourassa Named MASCAC MOTK Rookie Athlete of the Week
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman Liam Bourassa (Shirley, Mass.) was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men’s Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

The first-year Falcon picks up his first weekly accolade on the season after finishing third overall in the javelin with a DIII New England qualifying toss of 52.04 meters, while adding a fifth place effort in the discus with a throw of 38.58 meters. Concluded the day, finishing tenth in the shot put with a mark of 12.29 meters for the Green and Gold at the 2023 BSU Bears Invite on Saturday,
