Bourassa Places Tenth In The Javelin At The 2024 NCAA DIII National Championships

Shirley, Mass. native registers toss of 60.16 meters

Myrtle Beach, SC – Fitchburg State sophomore Liam Bourassa (Shirley, MA) finished tenth in the javelin with a toss of 60.16 meters this afternoon at the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.

Bourassa entered the 2024 NCAA DIII Track & Field National Championships ranked second in the country in the javelin after securing his spot in the javelin with a personal best throw of 66.41 meters at the DIII New England Championships, hosted by Mount Holyoke College earlier this month.
