Guevara Mateo placed 79th overall at the 2025 NCAA DIII Cross Country National Championships this morning with a time of 25:07.4 at the Roger Millikin Cross Country Course, hosted by Converse University.

Mateo became the first Fitchburg State Men's Cross Country athlete to compete as an individual for a DIII National Championship after taking the 2025 NCAA DIII East Regional Championship with a first place time of 24:31.7.
