Bio

Kelsey Fisher begins her first season as Pitching Coach for Fitchburg State University Softball in
2026.

Fisher joins the Falcons staff with extensive experience in program development and athlete
advancement at the high school and travel levels. She would like to thank Head Coach Carissa
Cicolini for the opportunity to join the program and looks forward to contributing to the continued
success of Falcon Softball alongside a dedicated coaching staff and committed group of
student-athletes.

Fisher most recently served as the Head Varsity Softball Coach at Ipswich High School for three
seasons. During her tenure, she led a comprehensive rebuild of the program, developing a
structured youth feeder system and reinstating the junior varsity team to establish long-term
stability. Ipswich earned Sportsmanship of the Year honors in each of her three seasons,
reflecting the culture of integrity and accountability she implemented.

In addition to her high school coaching experience, Fisher brings nine years of travel softball
coaching experience and currently serves as Vice President of the New England Diamond
Gems. In that role, she contributes to organizational leadership, player development, and the
advancement of athletes to collegiate competition.

A former collegiate student-athlete, Fisher competed at Southern Vermont College during the
2018 and 2019 seasons before the institution closed at the conclusion of the 2019 academic
year. Her collegiate experience continues to shape her coaching philosophy, emphasizing
preparation, resilience, and holistic student-athlete development.

Fisher earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Rivier
University in 2021.
