Fitchburg, MA – The Fitchburg State women's soccer team played the Trailblazers of MCLA to a 0-0 draw in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action this morning from Elliot Field.

How It Happened

Fitchburg State nearly took the lead midway through the first haft as senior Sophia Moore (Killingly, CT) fired a shot on frame, but Trailblazers keeper Destiny Rivas (Leicester, MA) turned the shot a side to preserve the 0-0 deadlock.

Following the intermission, the Falcons threatened in the 86th minute when junior Noelle Kennedy (Walpole, MA) put a shot on target only to have MCLA goaltender Mallory Amirian (Haverhill, MA) deny the scoring opportunity, resulting in the 0-0 deadlock.
