Robert Tabbed MASCAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week

Lynn, Mass. native collects second accolade of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. (January 27, 2014) – Junior Arthina Robert (Lynn, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office Sunday evening.

Robert collects her second weekly honor of the season after earning top honors in the 60 meter dash with an ECAC qualifying mark of 8.05 for the Falcons at the 2014 Art Farnham Invitational hosted by MIT on Saturday afternoon.

The Fitchburg State men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams return to action on Saturday as they travel to Tufts University for a meet starting at 9:30 a.m.
