Women’s Track Shines At USATF NE Championships
Crout qualifies for DIII NE's in the Weight Throw
Cambridge, MA – The Fitchburg State University Women's Indoor Track & Field returned to action today as they competed at the 2026 USATF New England Championships, hosted by Harvard University at the Gordon Indoor Track.

How It Happened
Junior Taylor Crout (Boise, ID) led the way for the Green and Gold, finishing third overall in the weight throw with a DIII New England qualifying toss of 12.86 meters, while senior Trishannah Scott (Fitchburg, MA) placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 10.15 meters and sixth in the long jump with a mark of 4.85 meters.
In the 200 meter, sophomore Arieyana Robinson (Worcester, MA) posted a 29th place time of 29.45 seconds, while freshman Nevaeh Hurley (Fitchburg, MA) placed 14th in the long jump with a mark of 4.60 meters.
