Jamie Kelley, Field Hockey
Senior Jamie Kelley (Pepperell, Mass./North Middlesex) collects her sixth Soaring Falcon honor of the season after being named to the 2012 Little East Conference (LEC) All-Conference team as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.
The senior captain notched her third career nomination after a record breaking season over the 2012 campagin with a LEC All-Conference First Team selection. The fourth year Falcon cocluded her record setting career, ranking first all-time with 33 career assists, while also ranking second all-time in goals (41) and points (115).
This year, Kelley posted a team-leading 49 points on 21 scores and seven dishes. The veteran forward was just as dominant among conference opponents, registering 32 points with 15 goals and 2 assists.
The Fitchburg State field hockey team concluded its 2012 campaign with an overall record of 7-11 and a 3-8 mark in the LEC.
