Five Falcons Garner MASCAC Honors

Corcoran, Yates & Narkevicius selected to the 1st team; O'Brien & Patty named to 2nd team

Fitchburg, Mass. – Five members of the Fitchburg State Field Hockey team were honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) as the conference announced the major award winners as well as the All-Conference team on Wednesday morning.

Senior Olivia Narkevicius (Phillipston, MA), classmate Samantha Yates (Woodstock, VT) and sophomore Isabella Corcoran (Braintree, MA) were selected to the MASCAC field hockey All-Conference first team, while sophomores Kendall O'Brien (Townsend, MA) and Nola Patty (Ashburnham, MA) were named the second team.

Narkevicius posted 17 points on seven goals and three assists, while Yates finished with 11 points on four scores and three helpers. Corcoran concluded the 2025 season, totaling 125 saves with a 1.25 goals against average and a save percentage of .845.

O'Brien tallied 19 points on a team best seven markers and five assists, while Patty anchored the Falcons back line, limiting opponents to 1.25 goals per contest as well as posting one defensive save.

The Fitchburg State field hockey team recently concluded its 2025 campaign with an overall record of 11-8 and a 7-5 clip within conference play, en-route to earning the third seed in the 2025 MASCAC Field Hockey post season tournament.
