Randy Wolcott, Ice Hockey
Junior Randy Wolcott (East Haven, Conn./Wisconsin-Stevens Point) collects his second Soaring Falcon of the season after being named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Goalie of the Week.
Wolcott recorded a season-high 45 saves in the Falcons 5-3 setback to New England College in Fitchburg State's lone contest of the week. This season, the second year Falcon has totaled 94 saves, with a .931 save percentage and a 2.57 goals against average over 163 minutes of action for Fitchburg State.
The Fitchburg State ice hockey team (0-2-1, 0-0-0 MASCAC) will be back in action on Tuesday as it hosts Framingham State University at 7 p.m.
