Amy Fahey, Women's Basketball
Junior Amy Fahey (Wilmington, Mass./Wilmington) collects her third Soaring Falcon honor of the season after guiding the Fitchburg State women's basketball team to a 1-1 week.
The junior forward totaled 31 points to go along with 10 caroms and four assists on 11-of-21 shooting from the field. Fahey posted a game high 22 points, including her 1000th career point in the Falcons 85-55 victory over Anna Maria College on Thursday before adding nine points, six rebounds and three assits in Fitchburg State's 90-47 setback to conference rival Bridgewater State on Saturday afternoon.
The Fitchburg State women's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday as it visits Fisher College for a contest starting at 6 p.m.
