Erica Mallozzi, Women's Indoor Track & Field
Freshman Erica Mallozzi (Gardner, Mass./Gardner) collects her first Soaring Falcon honor of the season as the Fitchburg State men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed at the 2013 Tufts Stampede hosted by Tufts University.
This week, Mallozzi posted a personal best time of 5:52.54 in the mile, while adding a season best time of 3:40.98 in the 1000m at the 2013 Tufts Stampede.
Last week, the freshman runner notched a fifth place finish in the 3000m, with a time of 11:50.90 at the 2013 Co-Ed Invite hosted by MIT.
The Fitchburg State men's and women's indoor track & field teams return to action on Saturday as they compete at the 2013 MASCAC/Alliance Meet hosted by the Univeristy of Southern Maine at 11 a.m.
