Zach Valliere, Men's Basketball
Senior Zach Valliere (Douglas, Mass./Douglas) collects his second Soaring Falcon honor of the season after guding the Fitchburg State men's basketball team to 1-2 week.
The third year Falcon posted 43 points, 30 rebounds and nine blocks over the course of three games this week. Valliere notched a double-double of 11 points and 11 caroms to go along with seven blocks in the Falcons 65-57 victory over MCLA on Tuesday evening before registering his second double-double of the week (14 points, 10 rebounds) in Fitchburg State's 79-75 setback to conference foe Salem State on Thursday. The senior center capped the week with a 18 point, nine rebound, two block performance in the Falcons 81-67 setback to Westfield State on Saturday afternoon.
The Fitchburg State men's Basketball team returns to action on Tuesday as it visits the Bears of Bridgewater State in quarterfinal action of the MASCAC men's basketball tournament at 7 p.m.
