Amy Fahey, Women's Basketball
Junior Amy Fahey (Wilmington, Mass./Wilmington) collects her fourth Soaring Falcon honor of the season after guiding the Fitchburg State women's basketball team to a 2-1 week.
The junior forward totaled 60 points, 34 rebounds and ten assists in three game this week. Fahey posted a game high 21 points, while adding eight caroms and four assists in the Falcons 71-63 victory over MCLA on Tuesday evening before notching a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds in Fitchburg State's 67-58 setback to Salem State on Thursday. The third year Falcon concluded the week with a 22 point, 14 rebound, four assist effort in the Falcons 75-71 win over MASCAC rival Westfield State on Saturday afternoon.
The FItchburg State women's basketball team returns to action on Tuesday as it travels to Framingham State to take on the Rams in quarterfinal action of the MASCAC tournament at 7 p.m.
